Recently, I have been undergoing some pretty drastic changes… as many have within the current U.S. economy. In finding myself in this situation, I have been seemingly off on several creative tangents… dabbling within this area or this particular media, as well as other areas and media in attempts to ‘get things going’ in light of this situation. Having posted before with the title having a reference to Monty Python’s “And now for something completely different…” segue, I visited some clips from the from the famous show on YouTube. This of course being in the midst of ‘getting things going’, mind you.
While watching some of the clips from the show, which always helps to just get your mind loose, laughing and out of the box… I cam upon this clip of John Cleese, but it was not to do with Monty at all. It is a clip of Mr. Cleese giving a lecture, broken up into the main points for time it seems, about Creativity. Watching this, I was not only intrigued as to the very non-comical nature of Mr. Cleese in such a platform… but even more so by what he spoke about, with the process and ability (or inability) to be creative along with ways to recognize the process of creativity.
Enjoy the clip, and I will be looking for more of this lecture… and posting if I can.
